Nissan finally enter the heat of India’s midsize SUV battle with the launch of the all New Tekton on 9 July 2026 at an introductory prices ranging from ₹10.49 to ₹18.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Available in six variants with 1.0-litre T160 and 1.3-litre T280 turbo-petrol engines, the Patrol-inspired SUV brings a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, 17 ADAS features, Google Built-in, 212 mm ground clearance, bookings for ₹21,000, and deliveries beginning 20 July 2026.

Two Turbo-Petrol Engines No Hybrid
Nissan offers the Tekton with two turbo-petrol engines to suit different driving needs. The 1.0-litre T160 develops 100 PS and 166 Nm with a 6-speed manual while the 1.3-litre T280 produces 163 PS and 280 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed wet-clutch DCT. Nissan confirm that no hybrid version will be offer at launch.
