This model is built for everyday riders and the low-speed electric scooter offers an 80 km riding range, safe LFP battery technology, 25 kmph top speed, 24-litre storage, and battery life of upto 1 lakh km that will make the EV ownership easier than ever.

When Launch & Announce?
The Greaves Electric Mobility officially announce the Ampere Reo VYB on 17 June 2026 through a press release by Greaves Cotton Limited to the BSE and NSE. This officially unveil is done by the Managing Director Vikas Singh that confirms the new entry-level electric scooter is launch for the Indian market.
So, this means the Reo VYB E Scooter is now available through Ampere’s nationwide network. Not just that, the company will also support the Reo VYB through more than 400 service touchpoints across India, targeting urban as well as Tier-II and Tier-III customers.

Reo VYB Variants, Colours, & Exterior Look
As we clear above that the Ampere Reo VYB is available in a single entry-level variant aims at first-time EV buyers and urban commuters. But buyers can choose from four colour options i.e. Warm White, Pastel Purple, Dark Grey, and Aqua Metallic.
This model comes in refresh styling gives the scooter a youthful and modern look while maintaining a practical family-oriented design. And when comes to exterior design, the Reo VYB comes with LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, a front disc brake, and a rider footrest as standard.

Well, the Ampere Reo VYB uses a 1.44 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery pack paired with a 250W BLDC hub motor. This setup is known for its enhanced safety and durability, the LFP battery engineered to deliver a lifespan of up to 1,00,000 km that make it suitable for long-term daily commuting requirements.
In terms of performance, the Reo VYB offers a claimed riding range of up to 80 km on a single charge and achieves a top speed of 25 kmph. And to get complete charge the battery requires approx 5 hours 30 minutes for a full charge. Additionally, the scooter comes with reverse mode that help riders maneuver easily in tight parking spaces and congested urban areas.

Well, this New Ampere Reo VYB packs several practical features like a digital LCD instrument cluster, USB charging port, reverse mode, park button, hazard lamps, keyless start, and an anti-theft key fob which makes it smart tech rich scooter.
