Triumph continues expanding its premium Modern Classics lineup with its New 5th Triumph Factory Custom Motorcycle. As the New Speed Twin 1200 TFC is now officially launch in India on 15 July 2026 at ₹20.99 lakh with production limited to just 750 units worldwide. Triumph packs premium Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, Akrapovič titanium exhausts, and carbon fibre bodywork with 200cc Bonneville twin engine. This complete packaging bike make it one of the rarest and most comprehensively upgraded Modern Classics from the British Brand.

What’s Special in New Triumph 1200 TFC?

Well, this Speed Twin 1200 TFC arrives as one of Triumph’s rarest motorcycles of till now. And the model is priced at ₹20.99 lakh (ex showroom) with just limited to only 750 individually numbered units worldwide and it also becomes just the fifth Triumph Factory Custom Model.

But what makes the Speed Twin 1200 TFC Different?, well, it is based on the Speed Twin 1200 RS but receives meaningful upgrades instead of just cosmetic changes. Triumph fits fully adjustable Öhlins 43 mm USD forks, Öhlins twin rear shock absorbers, clip on handlebars, rear set footpegs, lightweight Akrapovič titanium silencers, and extensive carbon fibre bodywork. And all these upgrades reduce the wet weight to 214 kg which make the the motorcycle 2 kg lighter than the standard RS while giving it a sharper café racer character.

Well, the model uses same Triumph’s 1200cc liquid cooled SOHC parallel twin with a 270 degree firing order that produces 105 PS at 7750 rpm and 112 Nm at 4250 rpm. The engine works with a 6 speed gearbox, slip and assist clutch, and Triumph Shift Assist for clutchless upshifts and downshifts. Instead of chasing higher power figures, Triumph retains the proven engine while complementing it with a lighter setup and a richer exhaust note from the Akrapovič system.

This new Speed Twin 1200 TFC offers exclusively in an Obsidian Gold paint finish featuring metallic black with gold flakes that become more prominent under changing light. Triumph also uses gloss carbon fibre for the front and rear mudguards, side panels and heel guards, while gold anodised fork lowers, a gold finish chain, machined bar end mirrors, and a handcrafted leather & suede bench seat complete its exclusive appearance.

Well, the TFC comes loaded with modern rider aids that too with its retro inspired design. Triumph offers Sport, Road, and Rain riding modes, ride by wire throttle, Optimised Cornering ABS, Cornering Traction Control, full LED lighting, and Triumph Shift Assist as standard. With just 750 motorcycles set to be produced worldwide, Triumph priced the Speed Twin 1200 TFC at ₹20.99 lakh (ex-showroom). And due to its the premium modern classic with strong price it will compete with bikes like BMW R 12 nineT, Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro, and Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Corsa.
