This new model is 2 kg lighter at just 167 kg (dry), the naked streetfighter gets sharper styling inspired by bigger Duke models, new WP radial brakes, upgraded updated WP Apex suspension, revised ergonomics, Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, and a redesigned TFT-equipped cockpit will make it more refined and rider-focus than before.
Ergonomics & Rider Comfort

KTM claims the updated motorcycle is 2 kg lighter than its predecessor, tipping the scales at just 167 kg dry. The subframe also improves airflow to the engine while contributing to better overall handling dynamics.
Engine, Power, Mileage, & Fuel Tank
Well, the model runs on same engine this means the 2027 KTM 790 Duke is the familiar 799cc LC8c parallel-twin engine that remains one of the strongest units in the segment. The EURO 5+ compliant motor continues to produce 105 hp and 87 Nm of torque in standard form, paired with a six-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist clutch.
KTM has revised the exhaust but performance figures remain unchanged. The updated 790 Duke continues with a 13.5-litre fuel tank and delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of around 4.6 litres per 100 km, translating to approximately 21-22 km/l. KTM has not officially quoted a top speed for the 2027 model but reports claim that expected to remain around 220-225 km/h, similar to the outgoing version
Advanced Tech Features
The motorcycle retains its 5-inch bonded-glass TFT display with a cleaner and more intuitive user interface. Riders continue to get Street, Sport, and Rain ride modes along with ride-by-wire throttle technology. KTM also confirm that its Demo Mode feature, which temporarily unlocked optional electronic features, will be discontinued on future models.

KTM has not announced official pricing for the 2027 KTM 790 Duke till now. But all the sources reports claims that the updated middleweight naked bike likely to be priced around €9,200 (approximately ₹9.2 lakh) in global markets. With taxes and other charges, the Indian pricing likely to carry an estimated price range of ₹10 to ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom) which will rank this bike between the KTM 390 Duke and 990 Duke.
When 790 Duke is Coming?

Now 2027 KTM 790 Duke is officially unveiled globally on 22 June 2026 which is also called its world debut.
