Skoda’s biggest electric SUV, the Peaq debuts globally on 23 June 2026 with upto 647 km range, 299 hp, Built on MEB Platform, and pricing of £51,980 (₹1.1 crore in India).
Skoda making one of the boldest move of the brand till now in the global electric vehicle space. Yes, with the debut of the all New Peaq Electric SUV on 23rd June 2026. New Modern Solid Styling
Skoda gives the Peaq its boldest design look which will make it the second production model to adopt the brand’s new Modern Solid design language after the Epiq. Up front, the SUV replaces the traditional grille with an illuminated Tech-Deck panel cover by distinctive T-shaped Matrix LED headlamps and slim DRLs. Flush door handles, sculpted body panels, gloss-black cladding, a roof spoiler and 19- to 21-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels that gives more sharper design to its premium look just like Kia Syros EV or Kia EV9. Coming to size, the Peaq EV is 4,874 mm in length, 1,867 mm in width and 1,664 mm in height, riding on a generous 2,965 mm wheelbase with 184 mm of ground clearance. Buyers can choose five or seven-seat layouts and has more practicality with a key strength of 299 litres of boot space with all three rows in use, expanding to 935 litres after folding the third row, plus a 37-litre frunk.
Battery, Motor, Range, Charging, & Performance
Well, the new Skoda Peaq is the brand’s most advanced electric powertrain that offers choice of performance as well as long-distance capability. Internationally, the flagship SUV is available in three variants i.e. 60, 90 and 90x with 63 kWh and 91 kWh battery packs.
The Peaq 60 features a rear-wheel-drive single-motor setup producing 204 hp and offers a claimed 459 km (WLTP) driving range. And the Peaq 90 gets the larger 91 kWh battery and a more powerful 286 hp rear-mounted motor which increase the claimed range to an impressive 647 km, the highest among all variants. To accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph, Peaq 90 takes 7.1 seconds and the Peaq 60 finishes it in 8.6 seconds.
Then comes the most stand out variant, the Peaq 90x. It combines the same 91 kWh battery with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that develops 299 hp and delivers a claimed 613 km range. This is also the quickest version, completing the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 6.7 seconds.
Coming to charging section, this also comes with an impressive numbers. Yes, the larger battery supporting 199 kW DC fast charging for a 10 to 80 percent recharge in 28 minutes, whereas the 63 kWh battery accepts up to 160 kW DC charging and reaches the same charge level in 27 minutes which make the Peaq well prepare for long-distance electric touring.
Skoda Peaq Electric SUV Interior & Tech Features
Well, the cabin also receives one of Skoda’s biggest technology upgrades. New additions include a 13.6-inch touchscreen, 10-inch digital driver’s display, digital key, 16-speaker Sonos audio, dual wireless chargers and a panoramic sunroof. Physical climate controls are retained while optional features like massage seats, an AR head-up display, and bidirectional charging add a more premium touch.
Suspension, Ride Comfort, & Safety
Comfort is also equally focused with performance in the new Peaq EV.
