Skoda Peaq Electric SUV Global Debuts with 647km Range – India Launch Date

Skoda’s biggest electric SUV, the Peaq debuts globally on 23 June 2026 with upto 647 km range, 299 hp, Built on MEB Platform, and pricing of £51,980 (₹1.1 crore in India).

Skoda gives the Peaq its boldest design look which will make it the second production model to adopt the brand’s new Modern Solid design language after the Epiq. Up front, the SUV replaces the traditional grille with an illuminated Tech-Deck panel cover by distinctive T-shaped Matrix LED headlamps and slim DRLs. Then comes the most stand out variant, the Peaq 90x. It combines the same 91 kWh battery with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that develops 299 hp and delivers a claimed 613 km range. This is also the quickest version, completing the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 6.7 seconds.

Coming to charging section, this also comes with an impressive numbers. Yes, the larger battery supporting 199 kW DC fast charging for a 10 to 80 percent recharge in 28 minutes, whereas the 63 kWh battery accepts up to 160 kW DC charging and reaches the same charge level in 27 minutes which make the Peaq well prepare for long-distance electric touring.

Well, the cabin also receives one of Skoda’s biggest technology upgrades. New additions include a 13.6-inch touchscreen, 10-inch digital driver’s display, digital key, 16-speaker Sonos audio, dual wireless chargers and a panoramic sunroof. Physical climate controls are retained while optional features like massage seats, an AR head-up display, and bidirectional charging add a more premium touch.
