On 15th August 2025, the Mahindra Vision SXT was first showcased. This model was built on Mahindra’s new NU_IQ platform with the concept combines a 2665 mm wheelbase, multi-energy support for petrol, diesel, hybrid and EV systems, and a bold twin-spare-wheel layout. Still the Vision SXT hints Mahindra’s bold global adventure vehicle future in 2027-2028 combining mixture of Thar.e DNA with next-generation technology and off-road capability.

At the Mahindra’s Freedom NU event, the Vision SXT stands out with its rugged SUV-pickup design, featuring a boxy silhouette, flared wheel arches, exposed hinges, and signature twin spare wheels mounted at the rear. And has unique finishing of striking brown shade, the concept is built on the new NU_IQ platform, and rides on a 2665 mm wheelbase, combining adventurous styling with the promise of a spacious cabin and practical lifestyle-focused utility.

Vision SXT Powertrain, Range, & Performance
Well, the Mahindra confirms that almost all Vision Models are likely to built on Mahindra’s advanced NU_IQ Platform. So, in this SXT model likely to have highly flexible future with support for petrol, diesel, hybrid, and fully electric powertrains. As per sources, to give lifestyle pickup vibe the brand will make it have on Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD/4×4) variants with all AT, MT, & DCT transmission.
So, this setup will offer performance tuned more for long-distance adventure and serious off-road capability than outright speed. Some inside reports claim that you may see 300-500 km range with fast-charging capability in EV version and 150-200 bhp for turbocharged ICE variants.

And with 28-degree approach angle, 34.9-degree departure angle, and 28.2-degree breakover angle, this Vision SXT is design to handle steep climbs, deep dips, and rough off-road tracks with ease.
Safety Features
Well, the Mahindra targets 5-star Global NCAP and Euro NCAP safety ratings with its new NU.IQ platform in this model. So, you will likely to see level 2 ADAS, 6 to 8 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), traction control, a 360-degree camera, and a high-strength body structure.
