Vinfast reveals VF8 second-generation Electric SUV in Vietnam with refresh design, updated cabin, and improved technology. This New VF8 Second Generation has 60.13kWh battery with 228bhp motor that offer claim range upto 500km. And the Vinfast also added new digital driver display, 12.9-inch touchscreen, ADAS, and fast charging that make it more attractive. In Vietnam, the brand also unveils that pricing is upto 999 million VND that means in India it will be approx. ₹36.5 lakh.
Launch & Price
Well, the VinFast officially reveal the second-generation VF8 electric SUV in Vietnam as the brand’s first next-generation model. As we all know that the VinFast already establish manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu and launch of VF 6 & VF 7 in India also hints that the VF8 second-generation will arrive soon likely to be early 2027.

The new VinFast VF8 is price between 999 million Vietnamese dong which roughly ₹36.5 lakh before taxes and import duties. At this price, the VF8 targets buyers looking for a premium electric SUV with modern features.
Design & Size of VF8 Next Gen
The second-generation VF8 looks sharper and more modern with redesigned LED headlamps, VinFast’s signature V-shaped light bar, flush door handles, and fresh 19-inch alloy wheels. Black body cladding and a rising window line give the SUV a sportier appearance than before.
This new VF8 is 4701mm in length, 1872mm in width, and 1670mm in height with 2840mm wheelbase. All this dimensions says make it smaller than the older version but also improves 170mm ground clearance which make it more suitable for city roads and easier handling.

Battery, Motor, Range & Performance
To runs this new second generation model of VF8, the VinFast add 60.13kWh battery pack with front-mounted electric motor that produces 228bhp and 330Nm torque. Although it has smaller battery, still the VinFast has improve performance by making the SUV feel more responsive and efficient for urban and highway driving.
VinFast claims the VF8 can deliver up to 500km driving range under the NEDC cycle. Fast charging is another highlight with the battery able to charge from 10 to 70 percent in under 30 minutes. This means VF8 Next Generations is better for long-distance travel.
Interior & Advanced Tech
Inside the new VinFast VF8, you will see more modern and cleaner dashboard with 12.9-inch touchscreen and newly added digital driver display. Buyers also get wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, air purifier, powered driver seat with memory, an 8-speaker sound system, and VinFast’s new Central Vehicle Computer for smarter connectivity.
