Norton’s Manx R, Atlas, and Atlas GT are coming to India by 2026 with speed, adventure, and luxury touring. Is this a market strategy? or Just a comeback story?
Norton Motorcycles is ready for a strong make comeback under the ownership of TVS Motor Company. After five years, TVS Motor Company acquired this iconic British brand for ÂŁ16 million (Rs. 153 crore) in 2020 and later committed upto ÂŁ100 million for its rival. At EICMA 2025 Showcase, three Norton high-performance, adventure, and premium bikes are coming in 2026. With British performance and TVS-backed engineering, these upcoming Norton Bikes will create strong buzz in market.
Norton Manx R
Norton’s first launch in India is the Manx R will arrive as a premium CBU superbike before July 2026 (expected) with an estimated price above ₹20 lakh. With launch in UK, all the sources avail that this Norton Manx R will run on 1,200cc V4 engine that will produce power of 206 hp and 130 Nm. And has 6-speed gearbox, quickshifter, and slipper clutch for smooth and quick acceleration.

But the main highlight of this motorcycle is Brembo brakes, semi-active suspension, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, and an 8-inch TFT display. With the British superbike features and TVS motors engineering, make this Manx R Bike more modern tech friendly with mix of track-inspired performance on Indian roads.
Note – Another similar model just like Norton Manx R is also in line which is Norton Manx. Expected launch is late 2026 or early 2027.
Norton Atlas
The Norton Atlas is going to be most important motorcycle for the brand in India because this model is likely to be locally manufactured. With adventure focus styling, upright ergonomics, LED projector headlamps, hand guards, and long-distance comfort, this Atlas is going to be one of the best Adventure touring bike. This model will likely to launch in mid or the late 2026 with expected pricing between ₹4 to ₹7 lakh.

Norton Atlas comes with 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine with 6-speed gearbox which likely to give smooth performance and produce 65-70 bhp power. And with top speed upto 195 kmph and mileage upto 27 kmpl, this model will attract buyers who want speed but with decent fuel efficiency.
Not just that you will see features like ride modes, cornering ABS, traction control, TFT display, and quickshifter which will attract adventure riders looking for premium middleweight motorcycle with British character and modern tech features.
Norton Atlas GT
Another upgraded version of Atlas but with different combination i.e. Norton Atlas GT. Just like Atlas, this Norton Atlas GT will also have same 585cc twin-cylinder engine and will have same power output which will launch by late 2026 or early 2027. But what makes the Atlas GT special are 17-inch alloy wheels, road-biased tyres, keyless ignition, USB-C charging, hill hold assist, wheelie control, and multiple ride modes.
This bikes looks more premium than previous Norton Atlas and suit more highway tourers who want sporty handling, premium comfort, and advanced electronics for long-distance rides. With extra features and better comfort, the Norton Atlas GT is priced higher then Atlas which is expected between ₹6 to ₹9 lakh.
Well, these upcoming three bikes are not simple launch but these will decide future of Norton’s India comeback. Starting with launch of Manx R this model will build brand value and then launch of both Atlas & Atlas GT will have clear motive of boosting sales. With TVS partnership, you may see lack in pricing, localisation, and after-sales support. In complete the Norton is going to stand out among all premium adventure touring bikes of India.
