What New Spied During Testing of Venus EV?
Recent media news report, the Hyundai Venus EV was first spotted testing in April 2026. And this testing clears that the Hyundai is moved from concept to real prototype stage with reports suggesting 80 – 90% design ready.
In the New Hyundai Venus EV spied images clears that standard mirrors and wheels are added with new powerful battery and modern comfort styling. Not only this, you may see new advanced tech with new safety standard which will make this New Venus EV all in one package.

New Fresh Outlook Designing
With a unique single-curve silhouette, the Venus EV body remains in one line without any old traditional sharp cuts. Hyundai gives a low fastback shape, a large panoramic glass roof, and a full-width LED light bar at the front, giving it a complete new futuristic look. And the rear designs comes with new transparent spoiler element, making the car look more like a concept model than a regular simple sedan.
Interior & Tech Features
As per the concept data and market reports, the Venus EV interior features will include a large 15–20 inch display with very few physical buttons making it complete digital. Some sources say that it will have Hyundai’s Pleos Connect system means this model will connect smart phone easily. Other features like suede materials, gold accents, and ambient lighting made interior more premium and modern.

New Battery & Range Features
Hyundai likely to add battery between 60 kWh to 85 kWh and this may give driving range of 500 km to 700 km on the Modified Indian Drive Cycle (MIDC). And this will come with single-speed automatic system which is very similar to other EVs. The biggest expected update by the Hyundai in this car is adding of Extended Range Electric Vehicles (EREVs) Version which indirectly increase range upto 1100 km.
Safety Features
No comprise in safety, the Hyundai will add safety features like Level 2 ADAS which will give adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. With this some extra safety features like multiple cameras and radar sensors which will indirectly support all the safety system.
Pricing
As this model likely to compete with Tesla Model 3 and BYD Seal, the price range will likely to be similar with these models. So, the New Hyundai Venus EV expected price is ₹23 lakh and ₹37 lakh. However, the official price is not still revealed.
Launch
The Venus EV is first reveal as a concept in April 2026 in Beijing and is currently undergoing real-world testing. As per the global auto market update, official debut is likely to be done in the Beijing Auto Show. But there is no confirmation about launch in India.
