Next Gen Kia Sonet Hybrid Launching Soon with new K1 platform, OTA updates, Level 2 ADAS, Strong hybrid tech, etc. features.
Kia Plant Anantapur Andhra Pradesh is working on Next Gen Kia Sonet Hybrid. With lot of testing and features upgrading, this Sub-4 Metre Hybrid Compact SUV will likely to launch in 2027. This hybrid update is going to be biggest transformation of the Kia Sonet since its 2020 launch. The Next Gen Kia Sonet SUV is design to focus on higher mileage, better tech and improved safety which will make it more future ready than the current version.
What’s New?
The Next Gen Kia Sonet Hybrid will use a combine petrol and electric motor engine making it more fuel efficient. This hybrid Sonet is base on the Kia’s new K1 platform which means no more K2 and more advanced technologies. Not just that but OTA updates and better electronic systems are also added as per new K1 platform.

This Sub-4 Metre Hybrid Compact SUV of Kia will likely to price between ₹9 lakh to ₹19 lakh. As the Hybrid cars are slowly becoming more important with rise in fuel prices. So, with Kia Sonet Hybrid Price many buyers will closely look at running cost.
And as we all know the electric motor will help the engine running that directly means less fuel consumption and better savings. That’s why all over running cost is going to be very low.
Features Upgrade

Well, the Kia has not revealed the main updates of engine but due its hybrid version it is already expected that the petrol engine with an electric motor and battery will be its new engine. The Sonet Hybrid Engine is design to give smooth performance and good fuel efficiency.
Some reports also suggest that this hybrid engine will be more comfortable for city or daily use. And the expected mileage is around 27 to 31 km per litre which is best among all variants of Kia Sonet.
Safety Features
With New K1 platform you may see new safety technology. The basic features like airbags, ABS and ESC are confirm but new Level 2 ADAS upgrade can be added. And the Level 2 ADAS confirms features like lane assist, adaptive cruise control and emergency braking. Higher crash safety rating is also in mind of Kia.

Kia is starting working on Kia Sonet. And this Next Gen Kia Sonet Hybrid Version will launch in 2027. But many reports also says that Sonet Hybrid booking and delivers will available in 2028.
